Danceability
Dancability is a method of teaching dance to people with and without disabilities in an inclusive class. Those with or without experience in dance can enjoy the class. Principles of improvisational dance are taught using creative exercises. Participants do not have to memorize choreograpy and do not have to do anything they do not want to do. The class build expression, creativity, self esteem, relationship understanding, and physical movement that is manageable for the individual.Mixed ability classes include dancers who use wheelchairs, canes, sign language interpretation or dance from a seated position for all or part of the class.DanceAbility Open Class
